Shooting Star Jasper and Turquoise earrings

After cutting out brass sheet and hand stamping the geometric design, I hand-forged the metal to make it textured instead of flat and it reminded me of constellations in the sky. Adding upcycled yellow jasper and turquoise beads made me think of shooting stars and the paths they leave in the sky.

Gold filled ear hooks. Dangled 2.5 inches below the ear. Brass plate is 1.5 inches long.
